Tuesday and Thursday
The emphasis is on the overall development of physical capacities, and fundamental movement skills, through the ABCs of athleticism:
Agility, Balance, Coordination, and Speed. Correct falling, kicking, punching, and blocking techniques are practiced. The skills acquired during this stage will benefit anyone of any age when they engage in other recreational activities. This practice time will enhance your quality of life and health.
Progression through the ranks is based on an international set of standards that build skill layer upon layer in a logical sequence. Students learn how to train, and they also learn the skills of traditional karate. Students are introduced to the basic technical skills of Wado karate.
